Project Description:
An additional 2 nos. 55MW Generation units will be installed in Joba power plant in WADI AL-DAWASIR Area. This major change calls for new under frequency load shedding scheme having rate of change of frequency feature too and using modern technology under frequency relays.
MEECO Scope of Works:
Providing the engineering & design services for installation of under frequency load shedding Relays at S/Ss 8781, 8782, 7780, 7781 & 7782.
Electrical & Protection:
Preparation of the equipment layout, Preparing SLD, Modification of protection logic diagram, Panel Interfacing, Relays setting calculations, Preparation of power & control cable schedule, SCADA point list modification.
